Remember how Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was way ahead than Singham Again in terms of pre booking sales? Well it seems that was the only parameter where Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy had an edge over Ajay Devgn’s Cop thriller.
Celebrations were on for Bollywood as two of the biggest franchises locked horns for the battle of supremacy as BB3 and Singham Again had a tough contest on the box office. However, it is Rohit Shetty’s cop universe which has come on top of this heated battle.
Being Kartik Aaryan’s biggest opening with over 35 crores on first day, the horror comedy had good pre booking sales as compared to Singham Again. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty’s film had more screens and shows as compared to Kartik’s horror ride.
As for Ajay Devgn, he also recorded his career best opening with over 40 crores on the first day. The reviews for both the films have been mixed where critics have pointed out some flaws but have called both the films a one time watch.
