After a long battle with the censor board, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ has finally got a release date. Doing triple duty as producer, director and actor, Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ will now be out in theatres on 17th January, 2025.
As soon as the announcement came out so did people’s reactions. It is a common public belief that after such long delay by censor board, the film might have had to go through multiple cuts or alterations and that will alter what the makers would have wanted to portray on screen to quite an extent.
Some also think that ‘Emergency’ will be another flop from Kangana who is kind of going through a slump in her acting career. There are also thoughts that Kangana’s political affiliations will certainly affect the film and that it might be biased and not be as true to the fact as it should be.
But the most shocking reaction seen online was people forgetting about ‘Emergency’ and thinking that it already released and was a flop. That’s how badly censor delay affected Kangana’s highly hopeful ‘Emergency’!
After such off reactions will ‘Emergency’ be the comeback Kangana Ranaut has long been waiting for? Well, only time and box office results will tell that when the film comes out on 17th January, 2025.
