The box office of Bollywood is sleeping in the corner and all the credit goes to the poor strategy of the producers. They are ignorant, outdated and suicidal. The sad part is, that Bollywood is not at all about the glamour of Andheri and Film City. It is more about that young 24 years old boy who cleans a cinema hall in a Tier 2 city like Varanasi. Since not many people are coming to the big screens, he will not get any bonus or any raise. Because the hall owner has its own limitations. Obviously, a loss-making business can’t afford to increase the salary of its employees.
But, even in situations like these, Bollywood biggies are busy in “The Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives” or at worse, defaming other producers. This is so sick.
In the entire month of October, only two big films were released and both of them on the same day. Of course, we are talking about Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video.
Quite strangely, neither of them could attract any mass. If and only f they had averted the clash then there could be some improvement. But, who cares?
Bollywood is diseased in its arrogance and it also demands a large-scale change in the way the industry functions. If it does not happen then things are not looking very bright for the entire industry.
