Kartik Aaryan led ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is gearing up for Diwali release as promotions are in full swing. After launching the revamped version of the original title track, that brought Diljit Dosanjh and Pitbull on board alongside Neeraj Shridhar, the makers are now set to bring ‘Ami Je Tomar 3.0’ tonight.
Next up in line is ‘Mere Dholna’. So no new song yet. And since all these three were there in both first and second part, it begs the question, is ’Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and its soundtrack only riding on the nostalgic factor.
Even ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ album had only two new songs and was bombarded with seven different versions of Ami Je Tomar/ Mere Dholna alongside the title track. Looks like the story isn’t going to be much different this time as well.
Cashing in on old songs might be a good strategy but thriving only on them indicates lack of artistic creativity. Sometimes the film might demand the same old music for connection to previous parts of the franchise but there always is ample scope for new, after all there are new characters and storyline.
Not that we don’t love these iconic tracks (more in their original form though) but it would be great to get to hear some fresh composition from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ soon.
