Dhvani Bhanushali’s debut Bollywood movie ‘Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam’ is out in the theaters now and reviews are pouring in. Well, it is not exactly a well-promoted movie with huge anticipation, but still has gathered a decent audience on the first day and the reviews are not solely negative, which is a relief.
Dhani Bhanushali was expected to have a lot of backlash for starring in a Bollywood movie as she has already faced much trolling for her singing. But looks like that is yet to come. People are for now appreciating her efforts and thinking that she might even have a decent future in acting.
The story is a bit cliché. A girl is forced into a wedding that she does not want. And when a charming young man crashes the wedding, and everybody wants him to go away, the girl thinks of taking her chance and escaping with the man. It’s a classic Bollywood trope and there is nothing much innovative in the plot, but some audiences think that it is light-hearted and witty and that will do for a large number of audiences which the movie is yet to reach.
The acting by the supporting cast: Suriya Pilgaonkar, Rajesh Sharma, Sonali Sachdeva and Rakesh Bedi, are done well and you might give it a go if you are a fan of lighthearted comedies.
