Religion and caste are sensitive topics for filmmakers and have caught them in a controversial state over the years. Another upcoming film Match Fixing – The Nation At Stake aims to bring out the traditional Hindu-Muslim debate.
The political thriller is based on a book titled The Game Behind Saffron Terror penned by Kanwar Khatana. Manoj Joshi, Anuja Sathe, and Vineet Kumar Singh play important parts in the film.
The film explores the murky world of regional politics, tackling themes of deceit, manipulation, and international intrigue. The trailer teases a compelling story that reveals how some political figures allegedly colluded with Pakistan’s ISI to fabricate a story around Hindu terror.
The other cast members include Shataf Figar, Kishor Kadam, Lalit Parimoo, Ekavali Khanna and Ramanjit Kaur. Directed by Kedaar Gaekwad, the film aims to have a huge impact on the viewers.
While critics and readers liked the original book written by Khatana, it remains to be seen how the film is received by the audience amid its release. It all comes down to 15th November as Vineet Kumar aims to showcase a sensitive yet thrilling topic.
