No Hindi Releases For The Whole Week- Chance For Hollywood?

No Hindi Releases For The Whole Week- Chance For Hollywood

Currently, India is experiencing its month of festivals. The whole month of October will be filled with festivals like Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali etc. These festivals bring holidays for many people which in turn makes it more likely for the films to make business. Last week closed with Dussehra and hence films experienced a substantial hike in their collections.

But unfortunately, no Hindi movies have been scheduled to be released in the coming week. Further, the next week too is devoid of any Hindi movies. Ayushmati Geeta is set to be released on 18th October, but it doesn’t stand to cause enough impact on the box office to notice.

This makes it easier for the Hollywood movies to claim their spot in the Indian theatres. Before November 1st, there is no film releasing that will have a national impact. But, several Hollywood films with a huge potential are lined up in these two weeks. The Wild Robot is set to be released on October 18, and being a highly anticipated film, it is supposed to get a good response in India as well, especially considering the fact that there will be no Hindi releases.

Indian audiences have been a big fan of Marvel films and on 25th October, Marvel is coming up with his next film that features a very favourite character of people- Venom The Last Dance. The film is sure to see a good viewership in India. Also, adding to its popularity is the fact that the film will be dubbed in Hindi as well, which will make it an even bigger hit in India.

Other than these films like Smile 2, Conclave, The Apprentice etc. will also be released in India in these two weeks. The dearth of proper Hindi films, and underperformance of the two highly anticipated recent releases, makes it more likely for the Hollywood films to see a successful business in India.
