A few days ago, we discussed the new generation of actors who could potentially fill the shoes of today’s superstars. In the first part of this article, we talked about actors like Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. Now, we’re turning our attention to even younger actors who seem to possess that same spark and talent.
The first name that comes to mind is Adarsh Gourav. Who could have thought that the young boy from My Name is Khan” would go on to deliver such impressive performances? He absolutely shone in “The White Tiger”, overshadowing actors like Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao—no easy feat! Adarsh didn’t stop there; he went on to star in the popular Netflix series “Guns and Gulaabs” and the well-received film “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan”, which was loved unanimously. We can confidently bet on Adarsh Gourav, and with his undeniable talent, he’s bound for success. His recent film “Superboys of Malegaon” was well-received, and he’s now working on a Hollywood project with Ridley Scott—an “Alien” prequel. It’s safe to say that Adarsh has a bright future ahead.
Another promising name is Ishaan Khatter, a well-deserving product of nepotism, coming from the extended family of Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan began his career with “Beyond the Clouds” and “Dhadak”, but his journey has only been upward since then. His notable works include a short film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and the critically acclaimed series “A Suitable Boy”. However, his biggest highlight came with “Pippa”, an action film based on the Indo-Bangladesh war. A gifted dancer and a versatile actor, Ishaan has delivered impressive performances early in his career. He’s definitely someone to watch out for.
Next up is Siddhant Chaturvedi, who made waves with his magnetic presence as MC Sher in “Gully Boy”. Although his recent venture, “Yudhra”, was a complete failure despite being an action entertainer, we believe that with the right guidance and support, Siddhant can become a major crowd-puller. His other notable performances include “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan” and “Gehraiyaan”.
Finally, there’s Raghav Juyal, who is not just the cheeky guy from “ABCD” and “Street Dancer”. He rose from a dance reality show to star in one of India’s most violent films, “Kill”, which skyrocketed his popularity. Even before “Kill”, Raghav showcased his serious acting chops in “Bahut Hua Sammaan”. He also delivered a standout performance as a bisexual character in “Yudhra”. Raghav has proven that he’s much more than a dancer, and his upcoming projects could elevate his standing even further.
These are just a few more names that have the potential to raise the bar with their upcoming projects. Let us know your picks!
