One of the most anticipated films of the year is most definitely Singham Again. Needless to say, Singham happens to be one of the most loved cops in Indian cinema and the franchise was never bigger than now.
We can most definitely say that there is going to be a massive blast on the big screens this Diwali. Singham Again’s trailer is nothing less than a festival in itself.
Just to remind you, Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi was one of the first Bollywood hits after the re-opening of the big screens after COVID-19.
Well, the Indian Police Force was torture to sit through but there are hopes for the franchise. They are all part of the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe which was established with Sooryavanshi.
Let’s get back to Singham Again. It stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff along with Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. You see, it has a huge cast and handling such huge stars is a challenge to the directors.
There were strong rumours about Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey joining the film. Well, there is no Salman Khan. At least not in the trailer.
But, it looks like the makers did the job with the cast. Yes, nobody stands out in the trailer entirely. Yes, not even Ajay Devgn as the trailer moves from one character to the other. But, it all depends on the entertainment the film provides.
The trailer is an absolute blast. If Singham Again comes out to be good then it will be the peak of Bollywood Masala Entertainment. The Ramayana motifs and brilliant dialogues will be a sight to watch on the big screens. No doubt that Singham Again is a proper masala entertainer with very high stakes.
The length of the trailer is really really long and it is a concern. It is almost like Rohit Shetty has given away the entire film in the trailer. Perhaps a little mystery would have been nice.
Singham Again is being released on the occasion of Diwali and it will be clashing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which itself is a very promising title. So, let’s see how it goes in Diwali for not only Singham Again but the entire box office. As of now, Singham Again trailer is just too good to be affected by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Let’s wait for what they do.
