On the six year anniversary of his cult classic film ‘Tumbbad’, Sohum Shah has today announced his next film ‘CRAZXY’ where in he will star in the lead role as Abhimanyu. ‘CRAZXY’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on 7th March, 2025.
‘Tumbbad’s’ recent re-release was nothing less than a storm at the box office. The film performed astoundingly well in terms of collection and finally got the appreciation it deserved commercially too.
Now that Sohum Shah has announced ‘CRAZXY’, the expectations are quite high and the first look motion poster is quite intriguing as well. The poster has Sohum Shah’s bust outline with his eyes and lips peeping through a maze of roads and flyovers and vehicles moving on them continuously. Also the background score further raises anticipation where Abhimanyu is said to be caught in a trap.
‘CRAZXY’ is written and directed by Girish Kohli who has served as writer for films like ‘Mom’, ‘Kesari’ and ‘HIT: The First Case’. Vishal Bhardwaj will compose music for the film with lyrics by Gulzar.
Samyukta Kaza and Rythem Lath will serve as editors for ‘CRAZXY’ while Sunil Ramakrishna will handle the cinematography. Produced by Sohum Shah, Mukesh Shah, Amita Suresh Shah, and Adesh Prasad and co-produced by Ankit Jain, ‘CRAZXY’ will release in theatres on 7th March, 2025.
