The teaser for Sunny Deol’s upcoming film ‘Jaat’ was unveiled in theatres yesterday with ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and ever since Internet has been abuzz with talks about the mass action avatar the veteran star has donned in it. ‘Jaat’ is helmed by Gopichand Malineni and is set for theatrical release in April, 2025.
The whole teaser is an action packed build up for Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat’ character. He is described as someone who comes out only at night and is almost invincible. The tease also gives a glimpse of Randeep Hooda who probably plays the antagonist in the film.
The teaser might feel a little exaggerated, but then what is cinematic liberty for. Also it reminds you of the Sunny Deol during his peak Bollywood era where he could go landing punches back to back, uprooting things to use as weapon and more. Overall, ‘Jaat’ teaser is an action packed glimpse of the film and does the job of creating hype well.
Sunny Deol had a career rejuvenation last year with ‘Gadar 2’ and is now onto multiple projects following its success. One amongst them is ‘Jaat’ that will once again see Deol in his comfort action zone.
‘Jaat’ is directed by Gopichand Malineni who is known for his mass masala films ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Krack’, ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and more. The film also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher who will be playing pivotal roles in the film.
Rishi Punjabi is handling the cinematography for the film with editing by Navin Nooli. Thaman S is composing music for ‘Jaat’. The film is said to be packed with larger than life and high octane action sequences, gripping drama and solid entertainment. ‘Jaat’ is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory and is scheduled to release on big screen in April 2025.
