After the mega success of Jawan, one thing became very obvious. North Indians love the way Tamil action is choreographed and they are open to more such films. This is exactly what has happened and Baby John is a product of the same emotion.
The film’s story is the brainchild of Atlee but the director is called Kalees. He is known for directing the 2019 Tamil film Kee which is not a good one.
But, Atlee placed his bet and he directed Baby John. The movie is a remake of Theri which starred Vijay and Samantha. It is a big hit and the makers have tried to replicate what worked for the original.
You see, the teaser has Atlee written all over it. Every frame reminds you of typical Atlee and people will be amused to see how the setting of the film looks so uncannily similar to Jawan.
Anyway, the movie stars Varun Dhawan along with Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff.
The story is familiar to us as it is from Theri where an ex-cop is on a mission to protect his daughter from his past enemies.
