Venom: The Last Dance Electrifies Indian Box Office With Decent Results

Tom Hardy continues to make a statement with his anti-hero character in Venom’s latest saga Venom: The Last Dance. This Kelly Marcel’s directorial is the last phase of the Venom saga following Venom: Let There Be Carnage which was released in 2021.

The latest part was released on October 24th this month and had a lot of anticipation ahead of its release. With so much hype regarding the final conclusion to the franchise, fans were excited to see what’s in store one final time.

The initial box office collection for the Tom Hardy starrer was great worldwide and it received decent reviews from critics as well. As time passed, the amount of mixed reviews slightly took over which led to a slight decrease in daily ticket sales.

However, Tom Hardy’s dominance in India can be seen as the film garnered over 20 crores in its first weekend. Its opening day saw the film minting 4.65 crores all over India including 2.25 crores in English, 1.65 crores in Hindi, 0.4 crores in Tamil and 0.35 from Telugu box office.

It saw a huge boost in its second day of release collecting 7.45 crores totalling 12.1 crore in only two days. Despite having mixed reviews up till this point, the film has performed well given the circumstances.

Alongside Hardy, the film also features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans and Juno Temple in prominent roles. The film is highly praised for its action and VFX, which is on point along with some huge cinematic showdowns.

As the film still has a week to develop a strong Indian audience before Diwali, it would look to capitalize and add more to its overall collection.
