Varun Dhawan’s Atlee backed upcoming film ‘Baby John’ will arrive in theatres in just 2 days and this one’s highly anticipated given it’s the remake of Atlee’s own superhit 2016 Tamil film ‘Theri’.
The real question is whether it will survive the wildfire of Allu Arjun’s massive blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2’ which is breaking box office records with each passing day.
Well, it depends on a lot of factor but mostly it’s how well made ‘Baby John’ is in terms of storyline, performances, screenplay, editing, music, action sequences, technical aspects and more.
While makers have been pretty consistent with ‘Baby John’ promotions it does not seem to have created a hype of the level needed for it to surpass ‘Pushpa 2’. To be honest it has mostly fell flat.
With ‘Pushpa 2’ reportedly gearing up for an extended version release this Christmas, its makers are readying for any competition if any from ‘Baby John’ in the northern belt. To break through, the latter will have to be extremely good so that it generates a decent word of mouth which might help it pull strong numbers at the box office. Also, Salman Khan’s cameo may be of great assistance for ‘Baby John’s’ success.
