Good news for Vir Das fans! Netflix has announced a new Vir Das comedy special which will be premiering soon on the streamer. This will be his sixth stand up special for Netflix.
Vir Das and his Netflix stand up specials began in 2017 with ‘Aborad Understanding’, followed by ‘Losing It’ in 2018, ‘For India’ and ‘Vir Das: Outside In’ in 2020, and ‘Vir Das: Landing’ in 2022 for which he also won an International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series last year.
In 2020, Vir Das also created and starred in a Netflix scripted show ‘Hasmukh’ that followed a small town comedian who becomes a serial killer.
Vir Das and his stand ups have always been in talks for not just being funny but at times for sparking controversial conversations too like his “two India” monologue.
This latest stand up special will be coming soon to netflix and is produced by Vir Das’ Zazu Productions. Stay tuned to binged.com for further updates.
