After completing it’s standard of eight week gap between theatrical and digital release, Kartik Aaryan’s latest box office blockbluster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is now coming to Netflix tomorrow on 27th December, 2024.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ brings back Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan) who makes a living out of being a fake ghostbuster and deceiving people. Recruited for the same by Meera (Tripti Dimri) and her uncle who belong to royal family of Rakt Ghat. But they unfortunately cannot live in the palace due to it being haunted by Manjulika’s ghost. When Rooh Baba reaches this spooky estate, he confronts a pair of vindictive ghosts, both asserting to be Manjulika.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ stars an ensemble cast of Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Rajesh Sharma and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Before release many expected that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ wouldn’t work much in theatres given its clash with multistarrer ’Singham Again’ by Rohit Shetty. But to everyone’s surprise the film did good at the box office and also received positive response from critics.
Despite this not many seem excited about its OTT premiere and that raises some serious concerns about piracy. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is already available on many websites in high quality print and those who did not catch in theatre and wanted to see it online have already seen it.
Advent of OTT platforms was thought to be a deterrent for piracy but there have arisen newer avenues to flout the rules and it is quite disheartening for the entertainment industry. Hopefully we get a solution for this soon.
