Boman Irani’s directorial debut film ‘The Mehta Boys’ premiered at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival last year and also won the best Feature Film Award at the festival is now set for it’s direct-to-digital release on Prime Video India.
‘The Mehta Boys’ follows the story of a father and a son who are forced to spend 48 hours together. As per the official synopsis, “The film follows their tumultuous journey and offers a nuanced exploration of the complexities often inherent in a father-son relationship”.
Boman Irani has directed ‘The Mehta Boys’ which he has co-written with Academy Award winner Alexander Dinelaris (‘Birdman’). Irani also stars in the film alongside Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhary and Puja Sarup.
Irani has produced ‘The Mehta Boys’ under his Irani Movietone LLP banner alongside Danesh Irani, Vikesh Bhutani and Shujaat Saudagar in association with Chalkboard Entertainment.
‘The Mehta Boys’ has had an acclaimed festival run and is now set for premiere on Prime Video on 7th February, 2025 and will be streaming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
