“Khel Khel Main” is a 2024 comedy drama film directed by Mudassar Aziz, adapted from the 2016 Italian movie “Perfect Stranger”.
The movie “Khel Khel Main” features Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal.
Now let’s focus on Akshay Kumar for a moment. Since 2022 we can see a drastic decrease in Akshay Kumar’s career, he did “Bachchhan Pandey” which gathered a gigantic negative review from the box office.
Then he did “Samrat Prithviraj”, “Rakshabandhan”, “Ram Setu” and many more movies like that which didn’t leave a good impression in the box office.
In recent times his two cameo roles in “Oh My God – 2” and “Stree 2” was probably his best performance, although in “Stree 2” his addition was unnecessary.
Now, let’s come back to “Khel Khel Main” with a budget of ₹100 crore. This movie did a terrible job at the box office.
Although some critics appreciated the efforts, the audience wasn’t satisfied with the movie.
But, OTT platforms are a saviour now, films which tend to do badly in the theatres gathers fanbase when it comes to the OTT platforms.
So, “Khel Khel Main” still has a chance to prove itself, because if we go in the past “Oh My God” wasn’t a box office hit, it became a very popular cult classic movie when it came to television.
So the same thing can be applied for “Khel Khel Main” because this movie didn’t do well for the audience because, once again Akshay Kumar was using his 2017 humour And also remakes has a bad reputation for killing the originality.
But because “Khel Khel Main” will be released on 9th October on Netflix it has a chance to entertain the audience.
