Do Patti: A Thriller That Falls Short of Its Promises

Netflix’s new instalment “Do Patti”, burst the bubble of anticipation in a quite brutal way. The movie promised a lot and delivered very little.

This female led psychological thriller with Kriti Sanon in the leading role, Kajol as a Cop and Shaheer Sheikh as the so called bad guy of the movie, “Do Patti” still managed to be an utter disappointment.

With loose writing and predictable plot line, the story lost half of its charm midway.

The movie started off with much adventure and hustle bustle establishing a very unique setting. But, with gradual progress we were introduced with the twin sister and the story changed its track.

There are so many loopholes which the viewers could understand, but before they could form an opinion the movie spoon fed everything.

There is a thing called attention to details, but if while paying attention you spill everything then what is the work of the audience?

“Do Patti” tried to make itself a very unique tale but ended up overdoing it, explaining everything in every situation broke the intensity of the film and as well as the flat acting of every character made it even worse.

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, this movie is an appropriate example of promising a lot and delivering none.
