Does SonyLIV Has No Trust On Zindaginama?

SonyLIV is definitely working some magic, focusing on quality over quantity. But it’s like that student in school who is great but not flashy enough, resulting in being unnoticed. And how do they deal with that?

SonyLIV is doing nothing about it.

Zindaginama, at least on paper, looks interesting. First, it tackles the challenges of mental health, which is definitely becoming a pressing issue for future India. This anthology has all the potential to be something important, something bigger.

But SonyLIV is making the same mistake over and over again. It’s letting good shows down, and it’s becoming clear that the platform is losing trust in its own content. They did the same with Manvat Murders, a show that had immense potential.

That’s not all. SonyLIV is now cramming so many shows into a short span of time that Zindaginama will definitely go unnoticed.

Why are we saying this?

Zindaginama is releasing on the 10th of October. Shockingly, just a day later, two more shows under SonyLIV’s banner—Jai Mahendran and Raat Jawaan Hai—are set to release on the 11th. After that, the slate looks empty, as SonyLIV hasn’t announced any releases beyond the 11th, which is both ironic and absurd.

Zindaginama doesn’t scream success, that’s true. Even its audience is very limited. But clashing it with two other titles that have more mass appeal seems like a suicide mission in general.
