Down on the same lane, JioCinema is not at all learning from their previous drawbacks.
“Dune: Prophecy” is an HBO Original series and a prequel to the 2021 film “Dune” directed by Denis Villeneuve.
The story will revolve around two Harkonnen sisters, who have established the foundation of Bene Gesserint.
Now, JioCinema is the gateway for Indian audiences to see this most anticipated series, which is originally a HBO Max six episode series.
But why JioCinema is not promoting Dune Prophecy at all?
This series will feature many well known actors and actresses such as Emily Watson, Travis Fimmel, and Mark Strong. But, the main attraction for the Indian audience is “Tabu” will be in a recurring role, she is going to play one of the pivotal roles in the series.
Having an Indian actress in the series embraces the fact that this series will be appealing for a majority of Indian audience.
At this point “Dune Prophecy” is a big project with a very famous Indian actress in it, at this point JioCinema should have done a good marketing which would make the series shine out to the Indian audience.
But with so little marketing and no promotion at all “Dune Prophecy” is staying under the rock.
JioCinema will stream HBO’s Dune: Prophecy from November 18, with episodes airing weekly, keep an eye on the website because you don’t want to miss the grand opening of the series.
