The main characters of the story are Santosh Duggal, a math teacher at a small private school in Delhi, his wife Kusum (Neetu Kapoor), a former librarian who is now a housewife, their college-bound daughter Payal (Aditi Vasudev), a feisty girl who is obsessed with cars and iPods, and their school-age son Sandy (Archit Krishna), who begins to believe at a young age that money can buy the world.
Every character has a role to fulfill and is well-rounded. With a basic plot, what makes a film energetic is the performance. The same is the case with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor as they showcase the natural flairs of being middle class throughout the film.
The film picks up pace once Payal demands for a getting a new car in the family. What follows is a set of hilarious moments that never seem forced. The problem which is faced by several comedies nowadays is that the humor is forced just to make people laugh.
