Citadel: Honey Bunny is on the way. The series directed by Raj and DK is one of the biggest ventures on Indian OTT. Not only it is a part of super large universe of internationally targeted Citadel, it also boasts Varun Dhawan and Samantha in the lead roles who are easily one of the biggest stars in the country.
But, it has a major task at hand. Actually, one of the largest benefits of the series is also one of its biggest weaknesses.

Yes. You see, Citadel has already two series in its universe. The American Citadel and the Italian Citadel: Diana.
We are assuming that the screenplay is written in an intelligent manner and it does not give too many references to the other two series which would make it difficult to understand.
Because it would add a lot of pressure on the audiences who would find it very difficult to understand and appreciate the other two Citadel series. The Diana one is fine but the American Citadel starring Priyanka Chopra is bad at its best.
So, let’s see how the screenplay of Citadel: Honey Bunny is written. If the makers had taken this angle in their mind then we have trust in the capabilities of Raj and DK and we can say that this series is going to be bonkers.
