SRK’s Birthday Treat: YRF Classics Hit Netflix

Yash Raj Films has partnered with Netflix to bring a large collection of classic and modern Bollywood films to viewers around the world. This collaboration marks a major moment for Indian cinema, as it allows some of the most loved Hindi movies to reach new audiences globally.

The rollout begins on November 1, just one day before the birthday of Shah Rukh Khan, with several of his iconic films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein, and Chak De India. More classics featuring stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, and Anil Kapoor will follow in mid-November. In December, Netflix will release two films a day as part of a holiday celebration, including popular titles like Hum Tum, Bunty Aur Babli, and Ta Ra Rum Pum. Salman Khan’s Tiger series will arrive near his birthday at the end of the month.

The partnership will continue into 2026, featuring romantic favorites such as Saathiya and Bachna Ae Haseeno for Valentine’s week, along with famous franchises like Dhoom and Mardaani.

Both Yash Raj Films and Netflix see this as a way to celebrate the heart and history of Bollywood while introducing these timeless stories to new generations. It’s more than just a streaming deal; it’s a bridge between the nostalgia of Indian cinema and the convenience of modern viewing. Fans can now relive the magic of these films from anywhere in the world, one release at a time.
