Shah Rukh Khan debut television show ‘Fauji’, which premiered on India’s national broadcaster Doordarshan in 1989, is getting revamped. Producer Sandeep Singh in collaboration with Doordarshan is launching ‘Fauji 2’ with Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan set to lead the show.
‘Fauji 2’ will be a modernised and updated version of the OG TV serial and will star 12 fresh faces and these include Aashish Bhardhwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Sushmita Bhandari, Maansi, Suvansh Dhar, Amar Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, and Priyanshu Rajguru.
With a concept by Sandeep Singh who also serve as the producer and creative director for ‘Fauji’, the show is directed by Abhinav Pareek (‘Sab Moh Maaya Hai’, ‘A Wedding Story’) and Nishant C Shekhar. Amarnath Jha, Vishal Chaturvedi, Anil Choudhary and Chaitanya Tulsyan are the writers for the show. Vicky Jain and Zafar Mahdi are the co-producers for the show.
Produced by Legend Studios, ‘Fauji 2’ will broadcast on Doordarshan in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Bengali and Punjabi.
