The Only OTT Giant That Defeated Bads of Bollywood

OTT platforms are seeing more people watch shows and films than before. Last week some new releases drew a lot of attention. Saiyaara dropped on Netflix India. The Bads of Bollywood, directed by Aryan Khan, also began streaming. Reality shows like Bigg Boss 19 and Rise and Fall also held strong viewership.

According to reports, Rise and Fall grew its audience by about one and a half times over the previous week. Bigg Boss 19 also saw a smaller but noticeable rise. The original fiction shows had mixed success. The Bads of Bollywood got about 4.6 million viewers.

In non-fiction, Bigg Boss 19 led with 8.2 million viewers. Rise and Fall jumped to 5.8 million from 4.2 million the week before.

Aryan Khan’s The Bads of Bollywood has generated plenty of buzz with its 4.6 million viewers, proving that audiences are curious about bold new stories in the OTT space. But despite this strong start, it still stands behind the heavyweight Bigg Boss 19, which commanded a massive 8.2 million viewers last week. The difference shows how deeply rooted reality formats like Bigg Boss are in Indian households, with their mix of drama, gossip, and celebrity appeal keeping viewers hooked week after week. While The Bads of Bollywood may win attention as a fresh and daring piece of storytelling, Bigg Boss continues to remind everyone that in terms of sheer scale and reach, it remains the unbeatable giant.
