A24 Drops New Trailer For Alex Garland’s Warfare

Acclaimed filmmaker Alex Garland joins forces with Ray Mendoza to bring Warfare to the big screen next year. A24 has unveiled a brand-new trailer for the upcoming war project.

Mendoza, a former Navy SEAL, previously collaborated with Garland on Civil War, where he served as the movie’s military supervisor. Initially labelled as “a disruptor of the US political climate,” the film went on to become a box office sensation, earning over $126 million globally and becoming A24’s second-highest-grossing movie.

The latest trailer for Warfare opens with a platoon of US Navy SEALs surveilling militants during their Iraq tour in 2006. They take shelter in an abandoned Iraqi family’s house. Just when everything seems to be going smoothly, a lethal, ground-shaking blast catches them off guard, derailing their mission entirely. As the clip reaches its final moments, we see their mission evolve into a desperate struggle for survival.

Warfare boasts an impressive cast, including Charles Melton, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Kit Connor, Joseph Quinn, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Noah Centineo, Taylor John Smith, and Finn Bennett.

The upcoming war thriller marks a change of heart for Garland, as the director had previously declared his intention to take an indefinite break from filmmaking.

DNA Films has produced Warfare, with A24 serving as the movie’s sole distributor. In addition to directing, both Mendoza and Garland have co-helmed the project. Stay tuned for more updates. Here’s the trailer!
