Agatha All Along: The Most Economic MCU Project

2024 seems to be a little better for Marvel. Sure, it was the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever, but no one expected Agatha all along to be such a success. That too, with all the odds against it. The series is practically the cheapest Marvel project ever. And still, the sheer success it has garnered needs to be studied.

While most of the Marvel series, like Loki, Moon Knight, or Falcon, and The Winter Soldier cost Marvel around $150 million each, the eight-episode series might just be the most economic series. Sure, there was Echo with a budget of $40 million. But that was merely four episodes.

Agatha, all along, being a magic-based show, should have had much more budget. However, it seems like the seire is doing just fine with what it has. The fans are absolutely loving it. The series has raked up a score of 83% approval by the critics. The rotten tomatoes have been labeled as certified fresh. Not just that, the two episodes have garnered an audience of 9.3 million.

While it has certainly been attacked by the “anti-woke” mob and was pitted against a masterpiece like The Penguin, the series is doing much more than just fair. Agatha All Along has surpassed all the expectations. Focused on a c-list character and with its relative disconnect from the mainline MCU, Agatha All Along has proved itself.
