We are less than a month away from the final season of Arcane, inspired by Riot Games’ League of Legends universe. The popular Netflix series focuses on the sibling rivalry between Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell), which will ultimately lead to an epic war between Piltover and Zaun. The streamer has unveiled a new trailer for Season 2.
The trailer’s fast-paced action is set to a mix of old and new dialogue, along with Stray Kids’ song “Come Play.” The unique animation style, which blends 2D and 3D, hints at rising tensions between the two contrasting cities, new dangers, and a compelling conflict between siblings.
Season 2 will be released in three acts, with the first act coming out on November 9. The second and final acts will be released on November 16 and November 23, respectively.
This split makes sense, as Arcane Season 2 is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most anticipated Netflix shows of 2024. It will also make it easier for viewers to avoid spoilers.
The latest clip features voiceovers from Vander (JB Blanc) and Silco (Jason Spisak), two key figures in the lives of Vi and Jinx. Silco died in the first season, but Spisak has confirmed that the character will return in Season 2. While it’s unclear how he will reappear, he may show up in Jinx’s hallucinations as she becomes more deranged than before. Here’s the new trailer!
