‘Better Man’ Trailer: Robbie Williams’ Story Told Through A CGI Monkey

Watch popular British pop icon Robbie Williams doing plenty of monkeying around in Paramount’s latest teaser trailer for Better Man, an upcoming biopic directed by Michael Gracy, who also co-wrote the project with Oliver Cole and Simon Gleeson.

Better Man debuted at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and received critical acclaim, with praise directed at the biopic’s unique concept and its overall portrayal of the popular pop star. As of now, the biopic holds a strong ‘fresh’ critic score of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.

You might know Robbie Williams from his 1997 hit ‘Angels’ or ‘Feel,’ which was released in 2002. The upcoming biopic will explore Williams’ dramatic rise, fall, and resurgence in the music industry. Additionally, fans will witness how the celebrity’s insecurities, inner vulnerabilities, and demons got the better of him on many occasions.

Instead of casting a human actor for Robbie Williams’ portrayal, Better Man uses a CGI monkey, featuring the star’s actual voice. Talk about creativity at its peak! The rest of the film’s cast includes talents such as Jonno Davies, Steve Pemberton, Alison Steadman, Damon Herriman, Raechelle Banno, Anthony Hayes, and more. The movie is set to hit theaters on December 25. Get ready to celebrate this Christmas with a bang! Stay tuned for more updates and check out the teaser trailer below!
