The “Knives Out” franchise’s star, Daniel Craig, is hopeful Netflix would grant the third film, “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” a longer-than-week theatrical run. Since “Knives Out 3” is a more pleasurable experience for fans,Craig thinks it deserves a more extensive theatrical release.
Craig says he doesn’t like that Netflix’s 2022 film “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” was shown in theatres for a lesser amount of time. According to him, Netflix should promote the film and allow viewers to see it in theatres.The streaming provider Netflix has teamed up with Rian Johnson to create two follow-ups to the well-liked “Knives Out” film.
Craig played Benoit Blanc in the sequel, which was the first Netflix film to be shown in AMC and Regal theatres. Netflix had previously declined to do so because of conventional theatre windows.
The new supporting cast includes Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church. The third “Knives Out” film, Wake Up Dead Man, is scheduled for release in 2025. The plot details are still unknown.
