The official trailer for ‘Dune: Prophecy’ has now been revealed. It is a prequel to the much loved ‘Dune’ film series by Denis Villeneuve and the events happen 10 thousand years before the films. ‘Dune: Prophecy’ will be premiering on the 17th of November. After taking so long for production, the series is finally coming out and fans are excited. Previously, several teasers for the Series were shared, creating huge hype for the show.
The first teaser gave us a glimpse into the world and mission of the Sisterhood and in this new trailer we get an idea of the hindrance that the Sisterhood faces. Emily Watson and Olivia Williams play the founding sisters of the Bene Gesserit. There are other actors like Jodhi May, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha.
We will get to know how Mark Strong’s Emperor Javicco Corrino and Travis Fimmel’s Desmond Hart are struggling to destroy the Sisterhood and how Corrino employs his special powers for that cause.
The story of two Harkonnen sisters building the legendary Bene Gesserit for the protection of the world has potential to be the biggest series on Max ever. Denis Villeneuve has already created a solid ground for the show with his more than brilliant movies.
