Hollywood Headed For Recovery After A Mediocre October

After a rather disappointing October, the next month can be essentially a revival for the box office. Movie fans will be eating well for the entirety of November as the November lineup of Hollywood is set to make history with heavy hitters ready to be unleashed. So what exactly are the movies that are termed as the most anticipated projects of the whole year?

First up we have Rdiley Scott’s Gladiator II. The franchise is making a return after two decades. The movie will follow Paul Mescal’s character Lucius, who makes a return after 15 years driven by a sense of justice and revenge as a gladiator. Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal will also appear in the film. The initial screening has shown positive interest from the viewers, which adds to the legacy the first film carries.

If you are looking for something more fantastical, the next two entries are for you. After the massive disappointment of Joker: Folie a Deux, if you wish to change your view towards musicals, then you can go for Wicked. The Broadway musical is now brought to life in a different medium, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The movie is releasing on 22 November.

Continuing the Disney trend of live-action remakes of Disney animations, we will witness Moana brought to life, starring Dwayne the Rock Johnson along with Auli’l Cravalho and Alan Tudyk. Alongside these heavy hitters, there is another The Rock action flick set to release early November titled “Red One.” We will also see Cillian Murphy’s Small Things Like These and many other movies hyped up for being cash magnets.

All in all, after the massively mediocre October, November seems like the perfect recovery for the ox office. With multiple movies lined up to be blockbusters. However, it is to be seen if the early reactions and the actual audience receptions coincide or not.
