Independence Day Weekend Gets More Crowded With Superman

James Gunn’s much-loved film Superman is finally making its way to streaming. Fans who missed the chance to watch it in theatres will soon be able to enjoy the record-breaking superhero adventure from the comfort of home.

The American filmmaker recently shared the news on his social media. In his post, he wrote, “#Superman is coming to your homes this Friday, 8/15. Available now for pre-order. Or catch it while it’s still in theatres!”

Interestingly, this movie is coming in the Independence Day weekend. The OTT market is already crowded due to a lot of nationalist content and there are just too many releases this week. Superman will most certainly increase the crowd but our Indian titles are safe.

Why?

From August 15, Superman will be available on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Viewers will also get a chance to own the movie physically, as 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions will be released on September 23.

Every movie that comes on AppleTV, Prime Video Store, BMS Stream, etc is extremely expensive. They are more expensive than movie tickets. That’s why, not a lot of people would prefer watching it on rent.

Starring David Corenswet as the iconic hero, the film has broken several box office records in the United States. Reports say it is not only one of the highest-grossing films of the year but also one of the biggest hits in the entire Superman franchise.

With its blend of action, emotion, and a fresh take on the character, Superman has earned praise from both fans and critics. The upcoming digital release means even more people will get to see why it has become such a standout in superhero cinema.
