Jesus's Second Coming But In A Cinematic Universe

No one saw it coming, but here we have it. We are witnessing the birth of a biblical cinematic universe. Back in 2017, the pilot for “The Chosen” was aired. Which continued to air for four seasons, the fourth being released this year in June, And now it will usher in a complete universe, dealing with the stories of the Bible and biblical characters.

Creator Dallas Jenkins recently revealed that he has plans for a number of projects. The slate revealed a number of scripted and unscripted projects. This includes an animated project, which would showcase a younger character, serving as a conduit for many curiosities of the child’s mind. Many members of the cast would reprise their roles.

In tandem, a very intriguing prospect of a show was presented. The cast and creators of the Chosen franchise will expedition the wilderness, accompanied by none other than bear grylls. This 6-episode series will aim at exploring the universe and the minds behind it in a new light. Apart from these, a Jospeh show and a Moses show are also present in the pipeline.

The Chosen is essentially a historical drama; it is quite an amusing prospect for a project like this to have an extensive cinematic universe. But since cinematic universes are obviously the supposed next step in Hollywood money-making, it is understandable from a creative standpoint why a cinematic universe like this is coming up.
