As for who will portray George Harrison in Sam Mendes’ The Beatles biopic, Deadline has revealed that Joseph Quinn, known for his roles in Stranger Things and A Quiet Place: Day One, will play the character. Insider Jeff Sneider confirmed this news some time ago.
Sources have disclosed that Quinn has been spotted playing guitar on several occasions on the set of Fantastic Four: The First Steps, presumably to prepare for his role as Harrison. In the upcoming Matt Shakman project, Quinn is also portraying Johnny Storm, aka The Human Torch.
We can easily imagine Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, especially considering his iconic “Metallica” scene in Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4. Quinn also appeared as Emperor Geta in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II, starring alongside his co-star Paul Mescal, who played Lucius Verus.
