Juror #2: WB Disrespects Eastwood’s Last Project

So Warner Bros. has a history of making audiences upset with its decisions. And ever since David Zaslav took over, many thought that this trend might change. Well, it didn’t. Juror #2 already has a whole lot of buzz around it, considering that this will be Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood’s last movie. Now, even a decent campaign for the movie would have mustered up the audience. An experience like that is definitely worth getting off the couch.

But WB decided on your behalf that you shall never leave the couch. That’s right, the studio had decided to release Juror #2 directly on Max without a theatrical release. That’s not all. Something shifted at WB, and they now have decided that the movie will have a limited release in just 50 theaters. Rubbing salt in the wound, the studio decided that experiencing Clint Eastwood in all his glory is not for everyone.

If it was not already obvious, people hate it. They have a general consensus that the studio has disrespected Eastwood. As mentioned earlier, the movie could have had a good run at the cinema. A massive name like Eastwood is enough to produce a profit.

But you and I are not the studio, and now the movie will be a “limited” experience for a select few, while everyone else needs to buy a subscription just to watch their favorite director one last time.
