In addition, Lionsgate recently dropped a new teaser for Ballerina, featuring some new scenes, interviews from de Armas, the late Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, Norman Reedus, producer Chad Stahelski and director Len Wiseman, and more behind-the-scene clips.
The teaser also showed the return of Keanu Reeves as the legendary John Wick, aka Baba Yaga.

In the sneak-peek clip, Stahelski disclosed that Ballerina allowed his team to explore the world of John Wick in ways that they hadn’t before. Most importantly, Wiseman confirmed that de Armas’ character is definitely not “a female John Wick”, but rather a new character who helps audiences delve deeper into the motives and origins of elite assassins in the John Wick universe.
In other words, this opens the door for new spinoff projects with new characters, storylines, and action sequences, while staying true to the core elements of the JW franchise.
McShane jokingly calls Ana “Baby Yaga” of the John Wick universe in the new featurette. The footage also shows the Blonde fame undergoing rigorous training to physically transform into a formidable assassin. She expresses a mix of concern, nervousness, and excitement but ultimately embraces the demanding challenge.
From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is slated to arrive in theatres on June 6, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates. Here’s the new tease
