No Good Deed creator and showrunner Liz Feldman has shared her thoughts about Season 2. The popular dark comedy series features Linda Cardellini (Dead to Me) as Margo Starling, along with F.R.I.E.N.D.S veteran Lisa Kudrow, The Marvels fame Teyonah Parris, and the Ice Age fame Ray Romano.
Kudrow and Romano play married couple Lydia and Paul Morgan in the hit Netflix series. They plan to sell their house three years after the shocking demise of their son. The rest of the cast includes O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Like Wilson, and other talents.
In a recent sitdown with TV Insider, Feldman opened up about her intentions with the much-awaited Season 2. Despite ending the first season on a satisfying note, Feldman has a “very clear idea” about how Season 2 would shape up. This is what she said:
“I have a very clear idea of what I want to do for Season 2. And I can’t wait to get into it with Netflix.”
No Good Deed did well in terms of critical reception. The first season scored a ‘fresh’ 75% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. It benefited immensely from many suitably placed plot twists and the lead actors’ performances.
The odds of Season 2 happening are pretty high, as the first season is currently one of the top ten shows on Netflix in the United States.
No Good Deed Season 2 will unfold plenty of secrets. We may find out the consequences Dennis (Fagbenle) will face after his wife, Carla (Parris), finds out that her husband has checked a $5 million check without informing her. Moreover, given how Season 1 planted an arc for the Los Feliz home, it will be interesting to see how Feldman and her team handle the scenario. Stay tuned for more updates.
