Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, & More Stars To Join Netflix’s Beef Season 2

Beef Season 2 is moving forward with ease. The new stars joining the second season are Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight), Carey Mulligan (Maestro), Cailee Spaeny (Alien: Romulus), and Charles Melton (Riverdale).

The upcoming season will revolve around a young couple witnessing an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, setting off a series of strategic maneuvers involving favours and coercion within the exclusive world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner, as described in the official synopsis.

Sung Jin will return as showrunner and executive producer. MCU’s Thunderbolts director, Jake Schreier, will join Season 2 as executive producer alongside Season 1 stars Ali Wong and Steven Yeun. A24 is the production house. The second season will have eight 30-minute episodes.

Yeun and Wong starred in Season 1 as two individuals who find themselves at odds after a road rage incident that quickly escalates, wreaking havoc in their respective lives. The first season garnered critical acclaim, winning eight Emmys, including best acting awards for Yeun and Wong, as well as Best Limited or Anthology Series. It also received three Golden Globes and four Critics Choice Awards. The season also featured Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, and Patti Yasutake.
