Great news for Wicked fans who are Amazon Prime Members. The much awaited November 18 early screening of the popular Broadway musical “Wicked” is now available to Amazon Prime members. The event is being held in collaboration with Netflix, and tickets are only available through Amazon Prime.
Until November 18, the tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Members have the opportunity to be among the first to see the eagerly awaited Broadway musical adaptation thanks to this exclusive offer.
Since the Broadway debut of “Wicked” in 2003, producers Marc Platt and Jon M. Chu has been working on the movie adaptation.
Ariana Grande plays Galinda, who later becomes Glinda the Good Witch of the North, and Cynthia Erivo plays Elphaba, who ultimately becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, in Chu’s film. Chu made the decision to divide the movie in half, with the first half concluding roughly where Act 1 of the show ends.
Selected audiences have seen the movie, which has garnered great reviews for both the spectacle on display and Grande and Erivo’s performances. Erin Strecker of IndieWire hailed the movie as the best adaptation of a musical since “Chicago” and “Mamma Mia.” The movie features numerous product partners, such as Betty, Target, and Amazon.
