Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time Season 3 has found five new cast members. The third season is set to premiere on March 13. Developed by Rafe Judkins, the show is based on Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson’s novels.
New talents that will be joining Season 3 are Isabella Bucceri (Everything in Between), Nukâka Coster-Waldau (Thin Ice), Salóme Gunnarsdóttir (The Lazarus Project), Björn Landberg (Galileo Mystery), and Synnøve Macody Lund (Saw X, Ragnarok).
Prominent faces that will reprise their respective roles are Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Zoe Robins, Madeleine Madden, Josha Stradowski, and more.
Bucceri will portray Faile Bashere, a Saldean ‘Hunter of the Horn’. She will be seen trying to find a treasured relic, an effort that will eventually lead her to The Two Rivers.
Coster-Waldau will play Bair, the eldest Wise One. He is one of the most respected members of the Taardad Aiel. Along with her ability to channel the One Power, she is also known to have access to other mystical abilities.
Gunnarsdóttir plays Melaine, one of the Wise Ones of the Taardad Aiel. Landberg will be seen donning the character of Rhuarc, the respected Clan Chief of the Taardad Aiel. Lund will play Melindhra, a Malkieri survivor who was raised by the Taardad Aiel.
The Wheel of Time takes place in an epic world where magic exists, but only women can channel it. The show is a joint production of Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television. Stay tuned for more updates.
