Severance Coming Back With A Season 2 On AppleTV

AppleTV is bringing back one of its most beloved series for a second season. That’s right, Severance is coming back on AppleTV. The trailer showcases Adam Scott’s Mark Scout running around as he goes on to unearth the mysteries of the shady deeds of Lumon Industries.

The severity focuses on the employees of Lumon Industries, who had to go through a surgical procedure that severed their workplace memory from the rest of their memories. The second season will focus on how Adam, our protagonist, and his band of friends find out what exactly goes down at Lumon and, of course, the consequences of the procedure of severing memories.

The cast of characters includes Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, and Patricia Arquetter, who will be joined by Sarah Bock, Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, and Merritt Wever.

The trailer showcases Mark running around a barren hallway, which gives off a very ominous, backroom vibe. The executive producer for the series, Ben Stiller, has also directed the five episodes out of the scheduled ten. The episodes will be released on a weekly basis, every Friday.

The hopes are quite high for the second season, as the first season had 14 Emily’s to its name. Not just that, it also has two Writer’s Guild trophy to its name. and recognition from the directors guild.

The show will debut on January 17 2025.
