The Bikeriders, starring Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer, will soon be coming to Jio Cinema. The movie will be available to stream in both English and Hindi. The movie premiered in August 2023; however, the SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed the theatrical release of the movie till June 2024. And now it will finally be available on Jio Cinema for the fans.
The movie revolves around a motorcycle club based in Chicago. The club is taken over by a number of drug addicts, so the original crew comes back to re-establish the norms of the club and take back their turf. The movie was one of the more critically acclaimed releases of 2023. The critics commented on the film, stating it is “fueled by a charismatic cast and the gritty authenticity of writer-director Jeff Nichols’ approach. The bikers offer a conventional and yet impactful look at motorcycle culture.”
The movie received a rating of 80% fresh on rotten tomatoes and an average rating of 6.9 out of 10. On Metacritic, the movie obtained a respectable 70 out of 100. The movie showcases the characters in a very gritty light. Taking no second guesses regarding the inclusion of violence. The portrayal of the central theme is prevalent throughout the runtime. Although the movie initially feels like a drag in the first half, the second act makes up for it.
The bikers will be available to stream on Jio Cinema on 21 October.
