‘Time Cut’ Trailer: Netflix’s Time Travel Slasher Stars Madison Bailey

The latest trailer for Netflix’s Time Cut, directed by Hannah MacPherson, looks like a mashup of elements taken straight from notable franchises such as Scream and Back to the Future. It also reveals the upcoming slasher’s release window, which is on the eve of Halloween.

Madison Bailey stars as Lucy Field in the newly released clip, portraying a socially awkward high school student and amateur inventor who accidentally discovers a time machine. Suddenly, she is pulled back to 2003, the year her sister (played by Antonia Gentry) was murdered by a dangerous killer, who, by the way, looks like a ripoff of Ghostface.

Bailey is best known for portraying Kie on Netflix’s Outer Banks. Gentry leads the streamer’s Ginny and Georgia series as Ginny.

Alongside Bailey and Gentry, the rest of Time Cut’s cast includes Michael Shanks, Griffin Gluck, Rachael Crawford, Jordan Pettle, Megan Best, and more.

Into the Dark fame Hannah MacPherson has helmed the project, written by MacPherson and Michael Kennedy, who is known for his work on It’s a Wonderful Knife and Freaky.

Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day) has produced the forthcoming slasher.

Time Cut will arrive on Netflix on October 30. Stay tuned for more updates. Watch the new trailer right here!
