‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ Disney+ Series Trailer Out Now

We are nearly a month away from getting the ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ animated Disney+ series from Marvel Animation. The 10-episode series will premiere on the streaming platform on January 29.

As per the official logline, the show will follow Peter Parker and his journey of becoming the superhero we know today. The series will be unlike you have ever seen, made with a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.

The new trailer shows Peter in his makeshift solution for a proper Spidey costume, until he gets a proper Spidey suit from none other than Norman Osborn (voiced by Colman Domingo), who discovers Spider-Man’s real identity. The new suit gives the vibes of the Future Foundation style.

Joining the cast is Vincent D’Onofrio, who has voiced Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin in the series. Hudson Thames voiced the titular web-slinger. The rest of the cast includes Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Hugh Dancy as Doctor Strange, and Paul F. Tompkins as The Wizard.

‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ takes place in an alternate timeline where Osborn serves as Parker’s new mentor, instead of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mel Zwyer served as supervising director, with Jeff Trammell as head writer. Check out the trailer below!
