Bangladeshi Film ‘Toofan’ Releasing In Pakistan Is Perplexing News!

After getting a theatrical release in India, Shakib Khan’s blockbuster Bangla movie ‘Toofan’ is now all set for a release in Pakistan. Itbwas previously dubbed in Hindi and now it is the turn for Urdu.

The makers are certain that the Urdu version of the movie is better and it will also work out fine at the box office. While Pakistani films are not getting released in India and vice versa, seeing a Bangladeshi one coming out in Pakistan is odd enough. The two countries are not in each other’s good book and this film release can have many political hints. But for now, it is only good news for the film fraternity.

Raihan Rafi, the director has said, “We think this will be quite interesting for us.” Shakib Khan has personally collaborated with the distributors in Pakistan to ensure a smooth release. ‘Toofan’ will be out in major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.

Toofan has become the biggest blockbuster from Bangladesh and has also worked out well in international markets. But still it strikes as a very strange incident that a Bangladeshi movie is being released in Pakistan.

The Urdu dub has been approved by the censor board of Pakistan and it will be out in theaters this Friday itself.
