Look Back Underwhelming In Theatres: Anime Love Only On OTT?

The wave of Anime into Indian culture is a slow and gradual process, for the longest time, a legitimate website to watch Anime, such as “Crunchyroll” was unavailable to the audience.

Now, recently the access of legitimate websites took the otaku fanbase by storm.

But, because for the longest time people have been watching Anime by using unfair means, it normally became a habit to watch anime on OTTs.

Now with Netflix, Prime Video launching an Anime category and all, the love for anime became very OTT based.

But now when the anime culture is slowly diving into Indian culture it is fair to say that there isn’t that much of a craze.

“Haikyu!!” and “Demon Slayer” all these movies received a very one-sided reaction from the Indian box office, and a similar thing happened with “Look Back”.

Every new medium needs a bit of time to completely blend in with another culture, Anime’s theatrical release is also the same.

With high ticket prices and very poor marketing in India , “Look Back” didn’t receive the love it deserves.

Now, tables can of course turn when it’ll be on OTTs, so now all we can do is wait and watch.
