A month ago, when Fortnite announced its Season 4 of Chapter 5, it brought none other than Doctor Doom with it. And now the trailer has been dropped, and players are ready with their consoles to watch all the madness unfold with Fortnite X Marvel LTM. Could this be a hint at the next direction MCU might take?
There is a skin released in this season, which showcases the character shift into Doctor Doom. Doom mania doesn’t stop here. Throughout the map, there are references to the Fantastic 4 and the Avengers. All in ruins. Could this be a representation of what we may expect from the Battleworld in the MCU?
Doctor Doom’s lair, the Doomstadt, is also shown holding the relics and spoils of his victories over our beloved heroes. The in-game goal is simple: as the henchmen of doom, they have to collect the relics and defeat the avengers, while the avengers will try to smother these plans of domination.
Now that Doctor Doom is coming to the MCU and he will be portrayed by none other than Robert Downey Junior, there are many interactions we are aching to see. But for that, we have to wait till 2026, when Avengers: Doomsday releases. As of now, the speculations are going strong about which storylines Marvel might adapt.
