Squid Game Season 2 is now finally streaming on Netflix. The series needs no introduction as it has easily been one of the best received series in the world.
Earlier, the market for Korean drama was limited to only a handful of fans. They would watch the cheesy romances, and it is from there that such series gained their stereotypes.
But the universe was waiting for Squid Game. The series came, and it emerged as Netflix’s largest success ever. Quite naturally, it became very, very popular, and here we have the second season.
So, what about the second season?
How is it doing?
Well, things are getting pretty good. There has been a significant decline in the ratings of the second season but that is not the concern.
It is too early to judge as more and more people are gonna watch the series and drop in their reviews.
The Rotten Tomatoes score of Squid Game Season 1 is at 95% but that of the second season is only at 86%.
The second season focuses more on the psycho-social aspects of characters which is a little different than the focus of the first season. So, there is a shift and perhaps that’s why there are some apprehensions among fans. But, with time, people are gonna love the second season of Squid Game.
